The Full Story

About

I started learning yoga to gain muscle and become more toned, but what I got was more peace and clarity in my mind. I wondered why there weren't more people teaching the invisible qualities yoga has to offer. I wanted to teach this kind of yoga to others because it helped me learn how to take time to be still, meditate on God and his goodness and pause my hectic, non stop life for a moment of sabbath rest and peace. I noticed how many Christians were leaving the practical practices of yoga by the wayside because of their use in worshiping other gods.1 Corinthians 10 has a similar story of food being used to worship idols but Paul tells us we are free in Christ to use what He has given us for worshiping God. I think that includes using physical practices that have been proven to help your body find part of the peace that God promises to us.

Mission

Yoga, at its core, means "union" or "yoking". It's a practice of connecting with the divine source. My mission is to use the practices of yoga to help you find connection between your soul and your body, your mind, and your God.

(2 Peter 1:3-4)

Vision

My ultimate vision is to cultivate a community of individuals who experience deep connection and harmony with themselves, with God, and consequently, with others creating a more mindful, peaceful, and spiritually aligned community.

"This class was so impactful! I walked away at the end of class feeling an immediate change in my physical body; as well as feeling grounded and refocused on the present time the Lord has for us."
